New 2013 Honda Fit EV Prices

Planning to offer 1,100 examples of the 2013 Fit EV over a three-year period through leasing, Honda re-engineered the gasoline-powered Fit subcompact into an all-electric vehicle. Propelling the 2013 Honda Fit EV is a 92-kilowatt AC synchronous electric motor paired with a 20-kilowatt capacity lithium-ion battery. Producing the equivalent of 123 horsepower and 189 pounds feet of torque, the 2013 Fit EV has an EPA-rated driving range of 82 miles. The 2013 Honda Fit EV can be charged by a 120-volt or a faster 240-volt charging unit. With exception to a subtle design tweak to the front end, the 2013 Honda Fit EV appears largely identical to its gasoline counterpart. In addition to the all-electric powerplant, the 2013 Honda Fit EV can be defined from the gasoline Fit for the inclusion of a lightweight aluminum front subframe, HondaLink EV telematics and with the use of a Bio-Fabric seating material. Other standard equipment found on the 2013 Honda Fit EV consists of a Vehicle Stability Assist, 15-inch alloy wheels and an interactive remote control allowing an operator to adjust many aspects of the electric vehicle including when to initiate or stop charging.
