Largely unchanged, the 2013 Ford Explorer is a FWD full-size crossover available with two different engines; a standard 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 290 hp/255 lb-ft of torque and an optional 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder Ecoboost engine that produces 240 hp/270 lb-ft of torque.
