All new for 2013, the Acura ILX is an entry-level FWD luxury sedan available with three different engines: a standard 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine (150 hp/140 lb-ft of torque), an optional 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine (201 hp/ 170 lb-ft of torque), and an optional 1.5-liter 4-cylinder hybrid engine (111 hp/127 lb-ft of torque). Transmissions consist of a 5-speed automatic (2.0-liter engine), close-ratio 6-speed automatic (2.4-liter engine), and CVT transmission (hybrid engine). Fuel mileage falls within an EPA estimated range of 22 mpg city to 39 mpg highway, depending on engine selection. Features include heated exterior mirrors, hands-free phone capabilities, sunroof, leather interior, rearview camera, HID headlights, navigation, and automatic climate control. Safety is comprised of vehicle stability assist (VSA), tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), anti-lock braking (ABS), advanced airbags, electronic brake distribution (EBD), and brake assist (BA).
