Started in 2010, the Ram Trucks operated as a spin-off from the Dodge truck division. The creation of Ram signified the transfer of Dodge's very popular full-sized truck. After 2010, Dodge Ram became the Ram pickup truck offered in a 1500 level half-ton as well as HD models. The 2500 level three-quarter ton and a one-ton 3500 version offer power from a HEMI V-8 or a Cummins six-cylinder diesel powerplant. Not limited to a work duty, the Ram 1500 Rebel is created as an off-roading equipped truck with 33-inch Toyo tires and skid plates. Luxury is also available on the Ram pickup truck with Laramie Limited and Longhorn model. For a brief period of time at the launch of Ram Trucks, a medium-sized Dakota was offered.
