The 2012 Lincoln MKS is virtually unchanged from the 2011, save a few colors that have come and gone. Bordeaux Reserve Red, Kona Blue and Ingot Silver are out. Crystal Champagne, Tuxedo Black and Silver Diamond are new.

The Lincoln MKS is a full-sized sedan that shares a platform with the Ford Taurus. It has a very roomy interior and tons of technology that is new for Lincoln, such as keyless entry and adaptive cruise control. The EcoBoost engine achieves the impressive feat of improving both performance--by 75 hp--and fuel economy, with an EPA-estimated 17 mpg city and 25 mpg highway.
The 2012 Lincoln MKS is a full-size luxury sedan available in FWD and AWD drivetrains. The base MKS is powered by a 3.7-liter V6 engine that produces 274 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque. For increased performance, Lincoln offers an optional Ecoboost trim level, equipped with a 3.5-liter twin turbo direct injection V6 engine that yields 355 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are paired to the same 6-speed SelectShift automatic transmission with paddle activation. Fuel mileage falls within an EPA estimated range of 16 mpg city to 25 mpg highway, depending on engine and drivetrain selection.
