Land Rover further refined the Range Rover for the 2012 model year with a couple of minor styling tweaks. Headlight and taillight backplates are now black while the door handles and side vents have been color matched to the body of the vehicle. The 2011-only Autobiography Black Edition is gone, but Land Rover has replaced it with the Autobiography which offers many of the same options.

Special features for 2012

Range Rover is, in many ways, the last word in luxury. It may well be the last word in true off-road capability as well-- a combination not often found in the SUV market. Range Rover's Sand Launch Control and Rock Crawl Program are impressive engine control systems, while the leather interior with wood trim is one of the best-regarded in the segment.
The 2012 Land Rover Range Rover is luxury full-sized SUV equipped with terrain-tackling 4WD. The Range Rover is a 5.0-liter V8 engine that produces 375 hp and 375 lb-ft of torque. Features include electronic sunroof, heated exterior mirrors, xenon headlamps with wash feature, automatic climate control, power heated seats, heated steering-wheel, front/rear park sensors, navigation system, and a rear seat entertainment system. Safety is comprised of advanced airbags, integrated whiplash protection, anti-lock braking, electronic traction control, and an electronic cross linked suspension. The Range Rover is backed by a 4-year/50,000-mile warranty.
