Claiming to deliver V-8 power with the fuel economy of a four-cylinder engine, the 2012 INFINITI M Hybrid combines a 3.5-liter V-6 gasoline engine with a 67-horsepower electric motor. The INFINITI Direct Response Hybrid System generates a combined 360 while allows the sedan to achieve 29 miles per gallon through combined city and highway driving. One year after its reintroduction as a re-engineered sport utility vehicle, the INFINITI QX56 enters 2012 with several add-ons. Blind Spot Intervention and an enhanced Bose Cabin Surround sound system equipped with 15 speakers are new optional on the 2012 QX56. A Tire and Wheel Package (arriving late in 2011) carries into 2012 consisting of 22-inch forged aluminum-alloy wheels and all-season tires. The INFINITI EX35 crossover vehicle adds a standard HomeLink Universal Transceiver for 2012 while the larger FX crossover vehicle line wears a provocative new front end appearance. The INFINITI G37 Coupe and G Convertible receive no major updates for 2012. The 2012 G Sedan's content for the Limited Edition and Sport Appearance Edition models have been enhanced by trim changes such as new exterior color options.
