The 2012 Dodge line-up retains its product range from the previous year with minor tweaks. Improvements have been made to the transmission performance with several Dodge models in 2012. The continuously variable transmission found with the Dodge Caliber and the five-speed automatic gearbox of the Durango are retuned. On six-cylinder powered versions of the Dodge Charger, the 2012 model year features an eight-speed automatic transmission for impressive performance smoothness. After a brief year absence, Dodge has revived the Super Bee version of the Charger SRT-8. The 2012 model year Dodge Charger SRT-8 Super Bee is propelled by a 470-horsepower, 392 HEMI engine offered in either Stinger Yellow or Pitch Black color schemes.
