An award winning compact sedan, the 2012 Chevrolet Cruze comes in four trim levels; Eco, LS, LT and LTZ. Features listed as standard on the 2012 Cruze LS model includes air conditioning, keyless entry as well as power lock and power windows. Offered only on the LS model, a 1.8 liter inline-4 engine powers the 2012 Chevrolet Cruze. All other variants of the 2012 Cruze come equipped with a turbocharged 1.4 liter. Both engines produce 128 horsepower, but the turbocharged powerplant produces better torque along with improved fuel economy. Six-speed manual and automatic transmission choices are presented on the 2012 Chevrolet Cruze. For optimized fuel economy, the Chevrolet Cruze Eco is standard equipped with a transmission including a special overdrive gear, low-rolling resistance tires and a front air intake flap controlled to open as well as shut to maximize aerodynamic flow. Attractive, edgy styling; competent, well-handling chassis; efficient turbocharged power; quality interior materials; quiet cabin
The compact sedan segment is a crowded one, and Chevrolet is refining its game with the 2012 Cruze. Cabin noise is mostly absent, thanks to triple-seal doors, a laminated windshield, and hydraulic engine mounts. And with an available 138-hp turbocharged engine with direct injection, it's possible to achieve excellent fuel economy with a sporty feel. Riding on a proven global platform, the Cruze takes the fight directly to the competition-- the Honda Civic, Hyundai Accent, Toyota Corolla and Nissan Sentra.
