Audi has left the A5 mostly as-is for 2012, save for the shuffling of a few options. The Premium Plus gets an available SiriusXM satellite radio, Advanced Key and rear parking sensors and backup camera. The Prestige trim now includes standard navigation and Audi side-assist.

The 2012 Audi A5 is a compact luxury car available in coupe and cabriolet trim levels. The A5 is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that produces 211 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque, for a 0-60 time of 6.4 seconds. Available transmissions include a standard 6-speed manual and an optional 8-speed automatic. The A5 utilizes FWD, however a permanent all-wheel-drive option is also offered. Fuel mileage falls within an EPA estimated range of 21 mpg city to 30 mpg highway, depending on transmission and drivetrain selection.
