Operating under new ownership since General Motors sold the company to Spyker in early 2010, Saab has been quickly working to prepare itself for the aggressive luxury car marketplace. The flagship Saab 9-5 had undergone a massive redesign in 2010. For 2011, the 9-5 sedan lineup offers expanded choice with a total of four trim levels. A 220-horsepower, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine is now available on the 2011 Saab 9-5. Available as a four-door sedan, two-door convertible or a SportCombi wagon body style, all 2011 Saab 9-3 models arrive with turbocharged, direct-injected four-cylinder powerplants. Also expected for later in the 2011 year, a new Saab crossover vehicle called the 9-4X is set to be offered with a naturally-aspirated 3.0-liter V-6 engine and an Aero version equipped with a 300-horsepower, turbocharged 2.8-liter four-cylinder powerplant.
