Special features for 2011

The Dodge Dakota is one of just a few remaining mid-size pickups, more practically sized for city driving yet almost as capable as their full size counterparts. While the Dakota is no longer the only mid-size truck offering a V8 engine, it still is an excellent hauler, tow-rated at 6,500 lbs.
The 2011 Ram Truck Dakota is an extended cab mid-size pickup truck available in RWD and 4WD drivetrains. A standard 3.7-liter V6 engine, that produces 210 hp and 235 lb-ft of torque, is paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission to deliver an EPA estimated 15 mpg city and 20 mpg highway. Features include a 4-speaker sound system, 17-inch wheels, deep tint sunscreen glass, remote keyless entry, air conditioning, fog lamps and heavy duty suspension. Safety is comprised of advanced multistage front airbags, supplemental side-curtain airbags, anti-lock braking and tire pressure monitoring equipped with a warning lamp. The Dakota is backed by a 3-year/30,000-mile warranty.
