Special features for 2011

The Ram 2500 and 3500 are heavy-duty trucks that sacrifice some ride quality and maneuverability, compared to lighter-duty pickups, in favor of improved towing and hauling ability. The heavy-duty Ram models are, like rival models from Chevrolet, GMC and Ford, far more luxurious and comfortable than their predecessors, even as they haven't given up any serious work ability. Entertainment and connectivity features abound and hint that these trucks see use well beyond the construction site. Ram says that the 2500 and 3500 are the first in their segment to offer an available ten-speaker surround-sound system, as well as a number of other premium options such as Sirius Backseat TV.
The 2011 Ram 2500 is a full-size pickup truck that is available in a wide variety of trim levels. The Ram 2500 is powered by a 5.7-liter HEMIĀ® V8 and gets an EPA estimated 14 mpg city and 20 mpg highway. Drivetrain options include 4x2/4x4 configurations that come equipped with a 5-speed automatic transmission and various cab trims; a Regular 8' box, Mega 6'4" box, Crew 6'4" box, and Crew 8' box. Options include 12,000 lb capacity winch, halogen headlamps, electronic vehicle information center, power heated mirrors, tow hooks, TRX fender flares, and a tire pressure monitoring system with 4-wheel pressure display. Safety features are comprised of electronic stability control, anti-lock 4-wheel disc brakes, advanced front airbags, supplemental side airbags, and a theft deterrent system. The Ram 2500 is covered by a 5-year/100,000-mile warranty.
