Special features for 2011

The LR4 delivers the upscale interior and 4-wheel-drive capability upon which Land Rover has built its reputation over the decades. The big V8 engine is potent and efficient, the interior is luxuriously appointed with goodies like leather seats and dual-zone climate control and the Terrain Response system and hill descent control make the LR4 more than capable of taking on the toughest trails. In other words, the LR4 is pure Land Rover and sets the bar high for luxury off-road competitors from Europe and Japan.
The 2011 Land Rover LR4 is a 4x4 mid-size SUV powered by a 5.0-liter V8 engine that produces 375 hp and 375 lb-of torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed Command Shift® automatic transmission that enables the driver to make manual sequential changes and yields an EPA estimated 12 mpg city and 17 mpg highway. Changes include new suspension components, revised steering, larger brakes, modified front end, revised LED lights, and an all new interior. Features consist of 19-inch wheels, bi-xenon headlights, dual-zone automatic climate control, alpine roof with integrated sun-blinds, power tilt-and-slide front sunroof, cruise control, auto-dimming rearview mirror, DVD-player/navigation system, and a premium sound system. Safety is comprised of front airbags, side-thorax airbags, side-curtain airbags, electronic parking brake, electronic brake assist, and four-channel all terrain anti-lock braking. The LR4 is backed by a 4-year/50,000-mile warranty.
