Premium off-road brand Jeep enters 2011 led by a completely redesigned flagship. The all-new 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee involves a sophisticated yet trail-ready exterior appearance. Complementing toughness with a rigid frame, the 2011 Grand Cherokee boasts commanding off-roading prowess with three types of four-wheel drive units available. With a HEMI V-8 maintained as the top-level engine, the Grand Cherokee will also be the first vehicle to be powered by an all-new 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 powerplant. Joining the new Grand Cherokee in the improvement department, the Compass and Patriot feature heavily-revised styling for 2011. Improved exterior as well as interior styling for the compact crossover Jeep Compass and Patriot better advertises the 4x4 roots of the brand. Part of the 2011 changes for the Jeep Compass is the incorporation of the ‘Trail Rated' badge previously omitted from the model. The 2011 Jeep Wrangler receives extensive interior refinements such as improved materials and optional automatic temperature control. A 70th Anniversary Edition Wrangler marks the introduction of the 1941 ancestor to the current Jeep model. The Jeep Commander has been dropped from the brand line-up.
