Redesigned in 2009, the 2011 Infiniti FX35 is a V-6 variant of the luxury brand's sporty-looking crossover. The 303 horsepower, 3.5 liter double overhead cam V-6 engine is paired with a super smooth 7-speed automatic transmission delivering the 2011 FX35 front-wheel or optional all-wheel drive traction. Electronic brake assist and traction control assures optimum grip of tires riding on 18-inch wheels. The biggest news for the FX is its lower price for 2011. Even with the price drop, the 2011 FX got a few new features, such as a standard power liftgate and a new color, Malbec Black. Other changes occurred in the options lineup, in which the Navigation Package has been added to the Premium Package for the FX35, and a Deluxe Touring Package with cosmetic upgrades has been added for the FX50.

The FX35 has had its price dropped by $1250 over last year's model, and the top-end FX50 price tag came down by $2600. The FX loses nothing in the bargain, and even gains a few options. The FX manages to keep its sporty performance in a crossover body with an appealing design.
