Deriving fuel economy of 15 miles per gallon city or 21 miles per gallon highway with unleaded gasoline, the 5.3 liter V-8 powered 2011 GMC Yukon XL is less fuel efficient if E85 fuel is being burned. A more potent 6-liter V-8 engine can also be fitted into the 2011 GMC Yukon XL for 352 horsepower, but fuel economy drops to 10 miles per gallon for city driving. The larger V-8 does allow payloads of up to 2,454 pounds to be hauled inside of the large sport utility vehicle. Tri-zone air conditioning, a Bose 9-speaker stereo system, and Bluetooth Connectivity is found on all 2011 GMC Yukon XL models. While the 2011 Yukon XL SLE features an audible back-up indicator as standard with a back-up camera extra, the SLT trim model adds the camera system standard.
