The 2011 GMC Savana Cargo Van is one of the more capable vehicles for moving loads. Sold as only a Work Van trim level, the 2011 GMC Savana Cargo Van's capabilities are translated through 1500, 2500 and 3500 weight classifications. On the 2011 GMC Savana 1500 Cargo Van, rear-wheel models features the entry-level 195 horsepower, 4.3 liter V-6 engine linked through a 4-speed automatic gearbox. Fitted with all-wheel drive, the 2011 Savana 1500 Cargo Van receives a 4.8 liter V-8 producing 280 horsepower as the standard engine. V-8 engines ranging in 5.3 and 6.0 liter displacement sizes are also available with a 6-speed automatic transmissions standard on 2500 and 3500 models. For turbodiesel power, a 6.6 liter Duramax V-8 engine can be ordered with the Savana 2500 Cargo Van providing 525 pounds-feet of peak torque for optimum towing. On all 2011 GMC Savana Cargo Vans, air conditioning and StabiliTrak are standard features. OnStar Direction and Connections is new, optional equipment along with a locking differential which can be ordered on any 2011 GMC Savana Cargo Van configuration.
