New 2011 GMC Canyon Cost of Ownership

The smallest pickup truck option available inside the 2011 GMC lineup, the GMC Canyon enters its 8th year in production serving as a rugged companion. Offered through three trim choices comprising of Work Truck, SLE and SLT, various body combinations present an astonishingly high amount of individuality. With regular and extended cab models offered on the 2011 GMC Canyon Work Truck and SLE trim ranges, features including 16-inch wheels, dual 13-volt power outlets and air conditioning is standard equipment. A crew cab version of the 2011 GMC Canyon is also available in SLE and SLT trim model lines. Deriving power from three Vortec engines, 2011 Canyon Work Truck and lower-equipped SLE offers a 2.9 liter inline-4 power plant delivering 185 horsepower. With a 4-speed automatic transmission and standard four-wheel drive on SLE and all SLT models, a 242 horsepower, 3.7 liter five-cylinder engine becomes available. For top power, the 2011 GMC Canyon also provides a 5.3 liter V-8 power plant capable of supplying 300 horsepower and 320 pounds-feet of torque. New for 2011, Bluetooth connectivity and a 6-month trial of OnStar Direction and Connections joins every 2011 Canyon as a standard features.
