A character-based, mid-sized sedan, the 2011 Dodge Avenger comes in trim levels starting with Express as well as Mainstreet before upgrading to Heat, R/T and a well-appointed LUX model. Standard features on the 2011 Avenger Express models include air conditioning, remote entry and power windows. Optional on the Heat edition but standard on the Heat trim, a 6.5 inch touchscreen Media Center which includes a 30 gigabyte hard drive said to be capable of holding up to 6,700 audio tracks. A four-speed automatic transmission is limited to the 2011 Dodge Avenger Express with an upgrade to 6 gears fitted to Mainstreet trims and higher. Adding a new sensation to the four-cylinder World Engine, a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission is optional with the Avenger Lux model granting performance of a manual gearbox.
