New 2011 Chevrolet Equinox Cost of Ownership

Adding Twilight Blue and Summit White to the exterior color range, the 2011 Chevrolet Equinox still relishes in a recent redesign. Coming in LS, LT and LTZ trims, standard equipment in common with all 2011 Equinox models include remote keyless entry, XM satellite radio and four 12-volt power outlets. For 2011, standard OnStar includes Directions and Connections with a six-month free trial period. 17-inch wheels, luggage side rails and a USB port are added on the Chevrolet Equinox LT while extensive chrome trim accents are found on the LTZ models. Standard power on the 2011 Chevrolet Equinox is sourced by a 2.4 liter four-cylinder engine worth 182 horsepower. Optional with the LT and LTZ Chevrolet Equinox, a direct-injected 3-liter powerplant is found on this crossover vehicle. A 264 horsepower engine, the 2011 Equinox's larger 3-liter engine now includes E85 compatibility. Both engine configurations come with a 6-speed automatic transmission which combines with a 2.4 liter engine to provide an average 26 miles per gallon in front-wheel drive. Optional all-wheel drive is also obtainable with the 2011 Equinox.
