Chevrolet's return to the pony car war has led to early success of the retro-styled Camaro. The 2011 Chevrolet Camaro coupe returns in LS, LT and the high-powered SS model. Joining the hardtop version in 2011, a Camaro convertible will be on sale in LT and SS trim. 6-way power driver's seat, air conditioning and XM satellite radio are standard on all 2011 Camaro models. Combined with either the standard 6-speed manual or optional 6-speed automatic transmission, highway fuel mileage of the 2011 Camaro is rated up to 29 miles per gallon. Given distinct 20-inch wheel and body panels, the 2011 Chevrolet Camaro SS models come with the 6.2 liter V-8 powerplant. Pumping out 400 horsepower when the 2011 Camaro SS models is equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission while a 6-speed manual gearbox sees performance of the 6.2 liter increase to 426 horsepower.
