Redesigned in 2007, the Korean built 2011 Chevrolet Aveo is a sub-compact car that is large on value but small on price. Available as a 4-door sedan or 5-door hatchback, the Aveo is equipped with a standard 1.6-liter 108-hp I4 linked to a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission which provides up to 27/35 mpg city/hwy. Standard features include a large interior, dual 5-star front crash safety ratings, OnStar, 4-wheel ABS and a 5 year/100,000 mile warranty. Pending a complete redesign scheduled for 2012, the Aveo returns for 2011 with few changes. Notable among them are a new introductory OnStar package that includes six months of GM's Directions and Connections plan with turn-by-turn navigation. Cosmic Silver is now offered in place of Silver Ice Metallic, and cabin air filtration has been added to the LT models.
