Special features for 2011

The Mulsanne is aimed at buyers looking for a driver's car at the high end of the automotive spectrum--a place usually reserved for exotics and chauffeur-driven luxury cars. It features classic Bentley looks over an all-new design, and it's the first "big Bentley" built since the company was purchased by Volkswagen, so it utilizes many off-the-shelf components from cars like the Audi A8. With its high-end luxury and excellent overall performance, the Mulsanne is fit to take on offerings from Maybach, Rolls-Royce and BMW.
Named after a popular section of the 24-Hour of Le Mans race course in which Bentley had secured several victories, the 2011 Mulsanne sedan replaces the Arnage as the British luxury car brand's most elite vehicle. Weighing just under 5,700 pounds in curb weight, the 2011 Bentley Mulsanne massive structure is constructed with the vast use of aluminum paneling. Featuring a wide range of vehicle color combinations, as many as 28 exterior colors are available for the 2011 Mulsanne sedan with 25 color options provided for the interior. Within the fine leather-appointed cabin designed for 5 occupants, the 2011 Bentley Mulsanne provides powered 12-way front seats, four-zone climate control and an 8-inch touchscreen serving as a media interface. Featuring standard satellite navigation, a 60-gigabyte hard drive also holds sizable space for storing music. Featuring a standard 14-speaker sound system, a Naim for Bentley 20-speaker system produces what is called a "mobile concert hall” according to the manufacturer. Rear-wheel driven with 505 horsepower, the 2011 Bentley Mulsanne's 6.8 liter V-8 engine is run through an eight-speed automatic transmission.
