Redesigned in 2009, the 2011 BMW Z4 adds a new top of the line sDrive35is trim level featuring a 335-hp 3.0-liter twin-turbo I6, 7-speed automatic with paddle shift controls, rear-wheel drive and up to 18/25 mpg city/hwy. M sport upgrade options are inside and out with optional 19-inch wheels, new front and rear fascias and a launch control system. Other trim levels include the sDrive30i and sDrive 35i, with detuned 3.0-liter I6 powerplants at 255-hp and 300-hp respectively, both are linked to 6-speed manual transmissions and return up to 18/28 mpg city/hwy. Plenty of comfort and safety options including iDrive, airbags all around and a rollover protection system compliment the Z4. Competitors include the Mercedes SLK, Audi TTS and Nissan 370Z.
