The TL sedan returns with no major changes over the previous model year. Constructed with a design said to focused on reducing total weight, the 2011 Acura TL exterior is complimented with low-beam HID headlamps, fog lights and 17-inch aluminum wheels. The interior of the 2011 Acura TL is also well-dressed with spotlight features in what the automaker calls a "dual personal” layout. Standard leather seating, Bluetooth connectivity and an eight-speaker sound system including a 6-disc CD player is found inside the 5-passenger cabin. Offering two powerful six-cylinder engines featuring VTEC and aluminum construction, choices are a 280 horsepower 3.5 liter V-6 and a 305 horsepower 3.7 liter V-6. A 5-speed automatic transmission with manual shifting is available with both engines. However, performance enthusiasts may prefer the 2011 Acura TL's smaller V-6 powerplant since a 6-speed manual gearbox option can be ordered.
