A five-passenger premium mid-size SUV, the 2010 Volkswagen Touareg 2 is powerful, stylish, and well-equipped. No longer available with a V8 engine, the Touareg offers a choice between two V6 engines; a 280 hp 3.6L V6 or a 3.0L turbodiesel V6 which produces 221 hp and 407 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and come standard with AWD. The TDI engine is rated at 25 mpg on the highway vs. 19 mpg for the standard V6 engine.
