The Tennessee-built Equator is based on the Nissan Frontier compact pickup, updated with Suzuki styling queues. Available in extended cab or crew cab trims, rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive, the Equator can be had with a 2.5-liter 152 hp I-4 or 4.0-liter 261 hp V-6 linked to a 5-speed manual or automatic. The Equator can also tow up to 6500 lbs while achieving up to 19/23 mpg city/hwy depending on configuration.
