Special features for 2010

Named after the car's 'boxer' engine design, the Porsche Boxster shares its basic design with the Porsche Cayman. The base Boxster starts around $46,000, which makes it a tempting value proposition relative to other sports coupes that are both road and track-ready.

The 2010 Porsche Boxster is a compact two-passenger convertible sports car offered in two exciting RWD trims. The standard Boxster is powered by a 2.9L six-cylinder engine which produces 244 hp. The Boxster S houses a 3.4L six-cylinder engine which generates 310 hp. Both trims come standard with a six-speed manual transmission, however the Porsche PDK seven-speed double-clutch automatic transmission is optional. The Porsche Stability Management System, or PSM, comes standard on both trims.
