Along with a revised appearance, the 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer is now offered as a hatchback called a Sportback as a companion to the compact sedan. The high-performance sport compact Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution gains improved suspension and steering as well as wider track for 2010 allowing the greater handling responsiveness. The ever-important crossover vehicle market for 2010 is now served as an all-new Outlander. Receiving the jet fighter grille similar to the one adorning the Lancer, the redesigned 2010 Mitsubishi Outlander family utility is bolstered by 2.4-liter four-cylinder or an improved 230-horsepower 3.0-liter MIVEC V-6 engine. A more modest restyling of the grille and tailgate was performed to the Mitsubishi Endeavor that now offers Bluetooth connectivity on all trim levels. A SE model is added to the 2010 Galant sedan lineup while the four-cylinder MIVEC engine was also retuned for enhanced fuel economy. Active Stability Control comes standard on the 2010 Mitsubishi Eclipse coupe and Spyder convertible.
