For 2010, the Mercedes-Benz CL-Class carries over largely unchanged, though updates include a new direct-steer system, improved selection of Sport mode for the transmission and suspension, and new mirrors with arrow-shaped LED indicators. Multi-color ambient lighting is available, as is Night View Assist PLUS with pedestrian detection and Active Body Control (ABC) with crosswind stabilization. Palladium Silver is a new exterior color.

The 2010 Mercedes-Benz CL-Class is a luxury sports coupe that seats up to four passengers. The base CL550 comes standard with AWD while power is provided by a 5.5L V8 producing 382 hp and linked to a seven-speed automatic transmission. The first of two AMG versions, the CL63 AMG is home to a 6.3L V8 that pairs to a the same seven-speed but produces 518 hp. The CL600 utilizes a 5.5L twin-turbo V12 that generates 510 hp and is mated to a five-speed automatic. At the top of the lineup is the second AMG car, the CL65 AMG is powered by a monstrous 604 hp 6.0L twin-turbo V12 linked to a five-speed automatic.
