2010 model year changes

The 2010 BMW Z4 got an overhaul in the design department, courtesy of an all-woman design team at BMW headquarters. The roadster features elegant lines and, in the top-of-the-line sDrive35i, more than 300 hp from the new 3.0-liter engine. The coupe has been removed from the lineup, and now features a folding hard top instead for use in any weather.

Special features for 2010

The entry-level sDrive30i has just as much style and nearly as much power as its big brother, the sDrive35i, but with a starting price $900 lower. Both cars pack an inline 6-cylinder under the hood, and the hard top extends the Z4's drivability past summer.
The 2010 BMW Z4 is a two-passenger, two-door convertible sports car that features a power-retractable hardtop. The Z4 is powered by a 3.0L six-cylinder engine which makes 255 hp in the sDrive30i trim or 300 hp on the sDrive35i trim thanks to a pair of turbochargers. The base transmission is a six-speed manual but a six-speed automatic is optional on the sDrive30i and a seven-speed auto is available with the more powerful sDrive35i. The Z4 comes well equipped with both trims and includes traction control, ABS, and side airbags among its standard safety equipment.
