The two-door, two-passenger 2010 Aston Martin DBS comes flying out of the gate with a 6-liter, V12 engine moving from 0-60 in 4.1 seconds. While the fuel economy is the same as the DB9 at 11 city/17 highway, the horsepower is greater at 510. Standard features include front and side airbags, tire pressure monitoring system, parking assist along with an iPod connector and Bluetooth capabilities.Read more Read less
While the DBS coupe remains unchanged (it first rolled off the assembly line in 2008, making it fairly fresh), a convertible DBS Volante has been added to the lineup for 2010. Other than the cloth top, which disappears behind a tonneau cover when it's down, the Volante is the same highly crafted piece of machinery as its coupe sibling. A DBS Carbon Black Special Edition, built in concert with Bang & Olufsen sound systems, will be available in summer 2010.
Distinctive styling; powerful 12-cylinder engine; hand-crafted interior
The DBS brings the 12-cylinder racing engine of the DBR9 and DBRS9 to the road, detuned a bit for driveability. The interior features hand-stitched hides and Aston's signature analog clock set in the dash. Of course, you'll pay handsomely for the combination of the finest materials, the latest in technology and one of Aston Martin's most powerful engines.
