Powered by a spirited 2.4L four-cylinder engine producing 161 hp and 162 lb-ft of torque, the Scion tC transmission choices are a standard five-speed manual or an optional four-speed automatic. An automatic-equipped Scion tC earns EPA fuel economy estimates of 21 mpg city/29 mpg hwy, while the manual transmission delivers 20 mpg city/27 mpg hwy.
