2009 Tribute price, pictures, reviews, and Mazda Tribute options prices

After last year's remodel, the 2009 Mazda Tribute gets automatic headlights, standard satellite radio and steering-wheel audio controls. Other upgrades include redesigned front and rear seats, a new cap-less fuel system and added standard equipment on each trim level. The Tribute's 2.3L inline-4 engine has been replaced by a 153-hp 2.5L version. With a choice of either front- or all-wheel drive, the Tribute offers a Sport trim with a standard five-speed manual transmission or an optional six-speed automatic, which is standard on the other trims. EPA-estimated fuel economy for the automatic transmission and front-wheel drive is 20 mpg city/28 mpg hwy and 23 mpg for combined driving, while all-wheel drive drops that to 19/25/21 mpg. The 3.0L V6 engine grinds out 240 hp and 233 lb-ft of torque coupled with a standard six-speed automatic transmission. Fuel economy with front-wheel drive is 18/26/21 mpg, but 17/24/20 mpg with all-wheel drive. Mazda Tribute standard safety equipment includes stability and traction control, front-seat side airbags, full-length side curtain airbags and antilock brakes.
