A four-door luxury sports sedan, the 2009 Maserati Quattroporte introduces an S trim with a 4.7L V8 engine that heralds 425 hp and 361 lb-ft of torque, while the base engine remains a 4.2L V8 with 440 hp and 339 lb-ft of torque, both mated to a six-speed ZF automatic transmission. Other additions for 2009 are revised front fascia and side mirrors, new LED front and rear lights and an updated navigation and entertainment system called the New Maserati Multimedia System. The S trim boasts a zero-to-62 mph of 5.4 seconds and top speed of 174 mph. EPA-estimated fuel-economy is 12 mpg city/18 mpg hwy. Maserati Quattroporte interior features are highlighted by opulent leather upholstery and woods finished to perfection. Options include run-flat tires, rear-seat heating, cooled and massage seats, pull-down rear-seat tables, a DVD entertainment system and custom paints and leathers.
