In mid-2008, Ford Motor Company sold the Land Rover brand to Tata Motors packaged with luxury car maker Jaguar. Under new ownership for 2009, Land Rover continues to pitch a high-quality selection of four sport utility vehicles. Land Rover's flagship sport utility vehicle, the Range Rover, is offered in a high-end Autobiography trim level for 2009. The 2009 Land Rover Range Rover Autobiography model is enhanced by bespoke touches such as high-level leather across the interior, four-zone climate control and 20-inch, diamond-turned twin-seven spoke alloy wheels. After its 2008 debut, the Land Rover LR2 has been reduced to a single trim level for 2009. The 2009 LR2 HSE includes new 19-inch alloy wheels and is offered with new HST package featuring a unique grille and body color painted bumpers. The 2009 Land Rover LR3 trim level line has been divided into a base, HSE and HSE Luxury classification.
