The 2009 Bentley Continental GT is a seductive pillar-less coupe with a very muscular fastback style. It is a 2-door, 4-passenger sports car wrapped in an ultra-exotic luxury exterior. Powered by a 6.0L twin-turbocharged W12 engine, the Continental GT produces a prodigious 552hp and 479 lb-ft of torque. This power is spread to all four wheels thanks to the continuous AWD system. A 6-speed automatic transmission is mated to the engine and dutifully handles the power sent through its gears. Park-Distance control is a new standard feature for the 2009 Bentley Continental GT. New options include adaptive cruise control, a Naim audio system, an iPod interface and 20-inch two-piece alloy wheels for the Mulliner Driving package. The Bentley Continental GT is easily able to keep pace with other exotics like the Aston Martin DB9 and the Maserati GranTurismo. If you opt for the 20-inch wheels, you can also upgrade to carbon ceramic brakes. The aforementioned Naim audio system features 15 custom-built speakers and 8 individual DSP modes, so that you can have the perfect sound regardless of what is going on outside your Continental GT. The Bentley Continental GT gets 10 mpg city/17 mpg hwy.
