Special features for 2009

The 2009 BMW 6-Series sedan stands apart from its 5-Series sibling thanks to its high-tech, performance-oriented features, which enable it to fill the double role of sports car and comfy luxury coupe. The exclusive M6 model has performance to rival many exotics from specialty sports car makers, while still having enough refinement for everyday driving.
The 2009 BMW M6 is available in coupe or convertible body styles. Power is supplied in the form of a 5.0L V10 which produces 500 hp. The 2009 M6 is a carryover from the 2008 BMW M6. You have precise control over all that power thanks to the 7-speed Sequential Manual Gearbox (SMG) which comes standard. If you prefer, you can have the traditional 6-speed manual at no extra charge. Standard M touches are aplenty in the BMW M6, including the reinforced carbon fiber roof, 19-inch radial spoke M wheels and the M front spoiler. Floor the gas pedal from a standing start and you will cross 60 mph in 4.5 sec. Keep the pedal floored, and you will eventually hit the 155 mph top speed. With 14.7-inch brakes up front and 14.6-inch brakes in the rear, you will be able to bring the 2009 BMW M6 to a halt quickly and safely. Convenience options on the M6 include a heated steering wheel, a heads-up display, soft close automatic doors and a comfort access system. Entertainment options include an iPod and USB adapter, an enhanced premium sound system, satellite radio with a 1-yr subscription and HD radio. New for 2009 is the option of Carbon Black Metallic paint for the BMW M6. The BMW M6 gets 11 mpg city/17 mpg hwy.
