2009 Audi TT Values
The 2009 Audi TT is a 2-door sports car that is available as a coupe or a roadster. A new feature for 2009, the 2.0L with S-tronic transmission is now available with Quattro AWD. The 2009 Audi TT standard features are bolstered by the addition of an auxiliary audio input, satellite radio, hill-hold assist and a multifunction steering wheel. The base engine is a 2.0L turbocharged inline 4-cylinder which produces 200 hp. This engine's fuel economy is rated at 23 mpg city/31 mpg highway for the coupe and 22 mpg city/29 mpg highway for the roadster. The 6-speed S-tronic automatic transmission is the only choice with the 2.0L engine; however, if you go with the larger 3.2L V6, which produces 250 hp, you can choose between the S-tronic and a 6-speed manual transmission. In addition to standard front, side and knee airbags, the Audi TT features an extremely rigid occupant shell to keep its occupants safe.Read more Read less
Following 2008 redesign, the 2009 Audi TT returns with few changes, though a new model joins the lineup. The TTS tops the model's performance charts, with a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder that puts out a big 265 hp and 258 ft-lb of torque. The TTS is available as a coupe or roadster, and both wear a more aggressive body, particularly up front, where the deep fascia and grille hint at its sporting purposes. Audi's S-tronic dual-clutch automatic transmission is standard, as is driver-adjustable magnetic suspension. Across the rest of the TT lineup, hill-hold assist is now standard, as is Sirius satellite radio and a multi-function steering wheel. A manual folding top is now standard on 2.0T models.
Aggressive, contemporary styling; all-wheel drive; 2.0L model's fuel efficiency; TTS performance
The Audi TT has aged incredibly well, with sharp exterior styling and an especially stylish interior, which is roomier and more distinctive than the outgoing TT model. The new TT is built with weight-saving aluminum components which allow for spirited performance and good fuel efficiency. The all-weather aptitude of the 3.2 quattro model makes it an especially good choice for those who regularly face inclement weather conditions. And for the performance buyer, the new TTS should give the Porsche Boxster and Cayman a good run for the money.
