The 2009 Audi A6 is a sporty 4-door, 5-passenger full-size car available as either a sedan or a wagon (Avant). The front fascia has been freshened up for 2009. The Quattro AWD system is now 40/60 rear-biased and the suspension has been tuned for greater comfort and improved handling. A new 3.0L 300 hp supercharged V6 is offered for the 2009 Audi A6. Blind-spot detection is now an optional feature. The A6 offers three engine choices for the sedan with the base 3.2L V6 making 255 hp, the new 3.0L supercharged V6 producing 300 hp and the 4.2L V8 generating 350 hp. The 3.2L V6 achieves an EPA-estimated 18 mpg in the city with FWD, or 17 mpg with the Quattro, and 27 mpg on the highway with FWD or 25 mpg with the Quattro.
