Special features for 2008

The 2008 Lincoln Navigator is one of the most luxurious American-made vehicles, appearing as an elegantly dressed full-size SUV on the outside with especially posh interior appointments. The new Lincoln Navigator L model brings added cargo space and is a direct rival to the Cadillac Escalade ESV. The Lincoln Navigator models stand out for their interior packaging, with a standard PowerFold third-row seat that automatically folds forward for an expanded flat cargo space. Yet the Lincoln Navigator still has a truck frame and serious hauling credentials, with tow ratings of up to 9,100 pounds.
Available in two or four wheel drive, the 2008 Lincoln Navigator L is an extended-length version of its brother, the standard Lincoln Navigator. The Navigator L comes equipped with a 300 horsepower 5.4-liter gas-powered V8 featuring 365 lbs.-ft of torque and a maximum towing capacity of 5,000 lbs. (as well as boasting a redesigned front grille and a freshened interior carried over from 2007). The Lincoln Navigator L offers seating capacity for up to seven passengers with luxury amenities that include dual zone climate control, keyless entry and full power accessories.
