An SUV that drives like a sedan; upgraded interior now on par with good looking exterior.
With a base MSRP of $37,045, the 2008 Cadillac SRX brings a lot to the table. For starters, the GM 3.6L "high feature" V6 is smooth and capable, while never becoming noisy or obtrusive. Also standard is StabiliTrak, which can reduce engine or wheel speed as conditions dictate. Goodyear tires ride on handsome 17-inch painted cast aluminum wheels, which are bolted to very capable four wheel anti-lock disc brakes. Other standard amenities include power front bucket seats, a tilting leather-wrapped steering wheel with redundant audio and climate controls, power windows and locks, remote keyless entry, a complimentary year of OnStar service, and parking assist. All these standard features on top of an SUV that drives on par with its German and Japanese rivals translate to an outstanding value that should not be ignored.
