Updated for 2007, the Mazda3 is either a four-door sedan or five-door hatchback wagon that offers seating capacity for up-to-five. There are four trim levels to choose from – the Sport, the Touring, the GT, and the MAZDASPEED3 all with front-wheel-drive configuration. The Sport and Touring feature a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 148 horsepower and a five-speed manual transmission standard, while the GT features a 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 156 horsepower. The MAZDASPEED3 adds a turbocharger to the 2.3-liter engine to bump power to 263 hp. All models, except the MAZDASPEED3 are offered with the optional four-speed automatic transmission.
