2007 model year changes

The Chrysler Crossfire is essentially a carry-over for 2007, but there are several minor changes. It gets a newly available monochromatic appearance, including Bright Silver Metallic paint. Safety features are bolstered: Crossfire now comes with knee air bags for both the driver and passenger. The high-performance SRT6 variant is no longer available.

Special features for 2007

The 2007 Chrysler Crossfire, which borrows underpinnings from the previous-generation Mercedes-Benz SLK and is assembled by coachbuilder Karmann in Germany, is available as either a grand-touring sports coupe or a Roadster. The Crossfire has an especially tight, stiff structure, and handling is a strong point; plus, its seats are also among the best when compared with other small roadster models.
Available as a 2-dr coupe or convertible, the 2007 Chrysler Crossfire changed minimally over previous years, enhanced now with new air bags and cosmetic trim. The Crossfire's 3.2L V-6 generates 215 hp and 229 lb-ft of torque. Either a 6-speed manual gearbox or an adaptive AutoStick 5-speed automatic transmission can be installed. Standard on the RWD 2-seater are side-impact airbags, all-disc anti-lock brakes, and an electronic stability system.
