The 2007 Chrysler Aspen is an all-new truck-based sport utility vehicle closely related to the Dodge Durango SUV. Combining design cues from Chrysler's successful 300 sedan with a traditional SUV shape, the Aspen is offered as a slightly more maneuverable, slightly more fuel-efficient alternative to larger full-size SUVs like the Chevrolet Tahoe and Ford Expedition.

The V8-powered Chrysler Aspen is being marketed as a value-priced, more affordable alternative to other large luxury sport utility vehicles for 2007. The Aspen has seating for up to eight, a best-in-class cargo capacity of 68.4 cubic feet with the third-row seats folded forward, and a generous list of standard safety features. And when properly equipped, the Aspen can tow up to 8,950 pounds.
New for 2007, the Aspen is a four-door up-to-seven-passenger SUV offered in one trim level, the Limited. The Aspen comes available in either two or four-wheel-drive and comes standard with a 4.7-liter V8 that produces 235 horsepower linked to a five-speed automatic transmission.
