2007 model year changes

The Chevy Silverado lineup was redesigned for the 2007 model year, but a handful of 2006s were carried forward until the New Silverado's launch. Among these carry-overs is the Silverado 1500HD, now badged the "Classic." This model was virtually unchanged from the previous year's version, except that recovery hooks were made standard.

Special features for 2007

Chevy's 2007 Silverado 1500HD Classic pickup represents a no-nonsense workhorse built on a well-established platform. Its 6.0L V8 produces an impressive 300 horsepower and can tow up to 10,300 pounds, which makes the 1500HD especially attractive to those truck-buyers who like more show than go. Being an older design, the 1500HD Classic sells at a relative discount when compared to most similarly equipped 2007 pickups.
