Prices start at $44,250 for the coupe and $52,590 for the convertible, making the Corvette one of the best performance bargains in the automotive industry today. Easier to live with every day than a Dodge Viper and more powerful than a Porsche 911 Carrera, the Corvette is a competitive world-class sports car for relatively few dollars. Surprisingly, the EPA rated the base Corvette at 28 mpg on the highway.
Completely redesigned for 2006, the 2007 Corvette remains relatively unchanged. Available in coupe, convertible two-door sports car models with 6.0Liter V8 engine that produces 400HP. There is also a Z06 model that offers a powerful 7.0Liter V8 engine that produces 505HP while still gaining an EPA fuel mileage rating of 16 city - 26 highway, making it the only car sold in America that produces over 500HP and is not subject to the gas guzzler tax.
