Special features for 2007

The 2007 Buick Rainier excels at creating a level of interior quiet and luxury that is usually unseen in the SUV segment. A comfortable ride is also standard, with rear load-leveling suspension. Traditional body-on-frame construction and an optional 302-horsepower V8 allow the Rainier to tow up to 6,700 pounds when properly equipped.
A carry-over from 2006, the Rainer is a mid-size SUV with four-doors and seating for five passengers. The CXL now has an upgraded 4.2Liter inline six-cylinder engine with variable-valve-timing (VVT) that upgrades to horsepower to 291. There is also an optional 5.3Liter V8 that produces 300HP, and both are linked to a four-speed automatic transmission.
