After reintroducing the Azure in 2006, Bentley has upgraded the luxury convertible with improved chassis, enhanced engine, and new transmission. The Azure disappeared from the Bentley lineup after the 2003 model year. For 2007, it is all-new and rides atop the platform of its sister, the Arnage. This means it is stiffer and quieter than its predecessor. Power comes from the twin-turbocharged 6.7L V8 found in other Bentleys, and the turbos are new for this year. The car wears a distinctive Bentley face, and while styling is perhaps not as evocative as its Continental GTC stablemate, the Azure boasts a luxury interior of wood and leather like no other. Exterior color choices number close to 40, while interior hides are also fully customizable.
The finest in top-down motoring for four; ultra-exclusivity as Bentley's flagship model; hand-built luxury at every turn; unrivaled marque history.
At 18 feet long, nearly three tons, 450 horsepower, and $330,000, there is nothing subtle about the Azure. And there is also nothing on the road to match it in terms of image, at least not until 2008 when its cousin, the Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead, debuts.
